People for Bikes hits 200,000 signatures

People for Bikes, the campaign to gather one million signatures of people who support making bicycling safer, more convenient and appealing for everyone has made it one-fifth of the way to its goal.

Since its start one year ago, more than 200,000 people have signed the pledge in an effort to make their collective voices heard.

Last month People for Bikes asked supporters to write a personal note to their representitives in Congress and more than 20,000 notes were sent in the span of a week.

So if you want to make your voice heard in support of cycling funding and advocacy, sign the pledge yourself at People for Bikes.
