Always a bummer to hear about product recalls, especially if you have one of the affected products. But safety comes first—except when it comes third—so Kona is recalling its Wo fat bike model due to a fork breaking hazard.
According to the notice on Kona’s website, only one incident has been reported, and no major injuries were sustained. Included are approximately 531 units of the 2014 Kona Wo fat bikes that are black and silver with the split top tube. Unaffected are the 2015 bikes which are mostly green and have sliding dropouts.
If you have one, visit the Kona website and learn how to file your claim.Tweet Print
