Documentary chronicles how bicycles can change the world

With My Own Two Wheels, a feature-length documentary about the bicycle as a vehicle for change around the world is working its way across the country on a screening tour.

Two Wheels weaves together the stories of five individuals across the globe into a single narrative about the bicycle as a vehicle for change. Shot on location in Zambia, Ghana, India, Guatemala and California, it was produced in collaboration with bicycle-driven development organizations including World Bike Relief and Bikes Not Bombs.

The crew, all Santa Barbara natives, grew up on their bicycles and experienced first hand the magic of two wheels. They see their film as a way to give back by helping spread the power of two wheels to those who need it the most. The screening tour is aimed at both raising awareness about the bicycle as a vehicle for change, and raising funds to help get bicycles to those who need them the most, both in developing countries and our own communities.
