Connecting the City in San Francisco

San Francisco is known for being a bicycle-friendly city, but that’s not stopping the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition from trying to make it even better. Connecting the City is a project to design and impliment seperated bikeways across the city, that would make it easier for riders of all ages and abilities to get around by bike.

Their goals are starting out small: 3 continuous miles of bikeway in 2011, but building from there to an ultimate goal of more than 100 miles by 2020.
