Kimberlee’s Bikes for Kids was established to honor Kimberlee Caledonia who died of brain cancer in March 2008. Kimberlee was an avid cyclist, and the Kimberlee’s Bikes for Kids foundation passes on her love of bicycling to today’s youth. The goal of Kimberlee’s Bikes for Kids is simple: to provide new bikes free of charge to 2nd and 3rd graders. The foundation allso supples free helmets, locks and safety instruction.
On Saturday, November 7th, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. the Visions Art Quilt Gallery located at 2825 Dewey Road in San Diego, CA will host a Bike Art Spectacular event to benefit Kimberlee’s Bikes for Kids.
