Bicycle Times Magazine on Hiatus, Will Continue With Website, Social Media and Events

Thank you for reading and supporting Bicycle Times!

Unfortunately, we have some sad news. Bicycle Times Magazine will be ceasing publication in magazine format, with the current Issue, #46, being the last until further notice. However, the Bicycle Times brand will continue through our website, social media and events.

When we started Dirt Rag nearly 28 years ago, we never dreamt it would grow into the major cycling media and event company that it is today. When we launched Bicycle Times Magazine in 2009, it was with the goal of getting more butts on bikes and making the world a better place, all while providing an entertaining, fun way to do so. But advertising support from the industry has been down, and it is no longer financially prudent to continue. We are eternally grateful to the readers who paid good money to enjoy our hard work, and the members of the bicycle industry that threw down cash to keep our baby alive.

You’ll be able to continue enjoying Bicycle Times daily via our website and social media outlets. Visit often to enjoy up-to-date cycling news, feature stories and ongoing bicycle-related content.

You can subscribe to our email newsletter for weekly updates and new articles delivered every Tuesday to your inbox, and follow us on Instagram as well @bicycletimes.

Bicycle Times will also continue its popular event, Adventure Fest, which will take place in Stokesville, Virginia this October and offers a family-friendly atmosphere with riding for all abilities, from gravel to singletrack. We hope to see you there!

We look forward to having you with us on this exciting new journey and appreciate your ongoing support of our independent cycling media company.

If you currently subscribe, your remaining issues of Bicycle Times Magazine will be converted to our sister publication Dirt Rag MagazineWhile Dirt Rag is not Bicycle Times, we know you’ll appreciate the unique voice covering subjects like bike camping, gravel, and other cycling-related activities.

If you’re missing an issue of Bicycle Times, remember you can buy back issues in our online store.

We are confident you will enjoy the ride.
